P.LOUISE Makeup Academy is a cosmetic company and academy in the United Kingdom. They are in international company offering makeup lessons in person and they also have an online training. This company started releasing cosmetic products two years ago and is now a million dollar brand, now they have started their own clothing line.
They visibly use instagram as their social media network. They post at least two post a day. Their last post was 2/10/2020 @ 1:47pm. They have 949K followers.Plouise Makeup academy seems to only utilize instagram, they have a Facebook page as well but its not used as often. They are utilizing instagram well, they've grown from 100K to 900K within a year.
PEACHES & CREAM MAKEUP

Peaches & Cream is an international cosmetic company, they sell everything from eyeshadow pigments to contour kits to makeup brushes. This brand first launched pigments and has now branched out to selling almost everything to complete a full face look using their products.
They visibly use instagram as their social media network, They post at least twice a day. This brand usually gravitates towards making IGTV videos, they post one every week and they average at least 20K views. Their last instagram post was 2/10/20 @ 11:00am. They have 422K followers.
Peaches & Cream utilizes Instagram as their main source of marketing, I checked to see if they had a business Facebook page and they don't. Making IGTV videos help this brand reach more people than they originally would than just posting on their feed.
MIKI MAKEUP & CO
-https://www.mikimakeup.co.ukMiki Makup & Co is a local Manchester company, that offers makeup lessons in person. They have different levels of training they offer at the academy. They also have different lessons to fit your schedule.
They only use Instagram to promote their business. This company post a twice a day and every other day. They post a picture and a video on the days that they do post. Their last instagram post was 2/20/2020 @ 3 Am. They have 62.1K followers.
MIKI MAKEUP & CO doesn't utilize Instagram as they should. They're not consistent with content, I believe that if they posted everyday at least once a day they would bring in more traffic to their social media.
HUDA BEAUTY
-https://www.shophudabeauty.comHuda Beauty is an international's cosmetic company. They have eyeshadow's to completion products and just recently released a skin care line. This brand first started with a blog named Huda Beauty, they talked anything from best makeup products to skin care tips and from there she launched her own makeup brand.
Huda Beauty utilizes majority of the social media platforms. They are constantly posting on all social media platforms. They post at least 4 times a day on instagram. They have a instagram for the actual brand and for the blog. Their last post was 2/20/2020 @ 4 am. They have 41.1 million followers.
Huda Beauty is utilizing majority of the social media platforms as their marketing network. They post often on each of them so they are reaching a broader audience each time they post.
Morphe Brushes Cosmetics

This brand is a affordable and is sold online, in their stores and Ulta. Morphe also has become a distributer for small indie brands as well. You buy different instagram brands through their website and in their actual Morphe store.
Morphe utilizes all social media platforms for marketing. They post at least twice a day on Instagram and facebook. Their last post was on 2/10/2020 was 2/10/2020 @ 1 pm. They have 10.4 million followers.
Morphe is utilizing social media well. Their use of social media has made the brand a bigger brand in the makeup community. Morphe is well known brand for makeup artist because of its affordability.
Through researching these cosmetic companies, I learned that social media plays a major role in marketing and reaching a different audience. Different brands utilize different platforms to reach people and sell products. The companies with the most social media interactions and followers are the ones that are consistent with posting.
The cosmetic company that sell products post more on social media and they also interact more with their followers. They seem to care more about responding to comments and posting their products being used by different people on their feed. They also tend to post more tutorials on how to use their products.
The companies that are mostly for teaching makeup don't post as often. These companies tend to post different looks and what products they used tp create the look. They usually only post steps of the makeup process and not full on tutorials, because they're trying to get people into the academy to learn the full process. These companies don't interact with their followers s much or as often as the brands that are selling products.
